I wish you enough.

Hello Friend,

Gong Xi Fa Cai! Happy Lunar New Year! which officially started January 22nd!

I don’t know about you, but I desperately needed a fresh start now, and not in January–which was a complete dumpster fire in our house. I’ll spare you the gory details, but high-level, there was a mix of unplanned stressful happenings, sicknesses, ER visits, and general madness that made it all extremely “fun”. I know some of you can relate.

The Lunar New Year is celebrated widely throughout East Asia and signals the beginning of spring and the start of a new lunar cycle, and is celebrated widely throughout East Asia.

It’s a huge celebration, full of food and festivities, and marks a time where people take (often long) trips back home to spend the week with family and friends–my team in China and the Asia-Pacific region is doing this right now, and every year I have a little FOMO.

Sidebar: The more work I do on personal development and self discovery, the more I’ve taken a more serious interest and study into astrology charts and my birth chart (hello, Human Design, link below). So here we are.

According to the lunar calendar, this year is the Year of the Rabbit, which symbolizes longevity, peace, and prosperity, predicted to be a year of hope.

I love this for us.

We endured a lot last year. Personally, I grew a lot, in ways that surprised me. It was uncomfortable. I evolved in ways that challenged my resilience and aptitude and ability to work through challenge and change, and impressed myself. I mean, no pressure, no diamond, right? SO, to have a year of HOPE feels so good.

As we enter this new year–whether you started in January, or if you’re starting with me now–I want to share a wish for us all, from my therapist who gifts it to me as we were exchanging well-wishes closing out last year; he shared his favorite Irish blessing and he said:

I wish you enough.

I wish this for you too.

Enough. Enough time, enough peace, enough laughter, enough sleep, enough joy, enough rest, enough patience, enough growth, enough fun, enough hugs, enough moments worth celebrating. Enough.

And now, here are 5 links that deserve to be in your inbox:
